Its members include inbound tour operators, destination management companies, and tourism partners who specialize in the U.S. market, and once a year they all come together....
About the IITA Summit 2026
The IITA Summit is an industry gathering designed to connect inbound travel professionals who sell and promote travel to the U.S. Its mission is to build relationships, share market insights, and create business opportunities.
Beyond this, the goal of the summit is to strengthen international travel partnerships and support the continued growth of inbound tourism to the United States.
Live Graphic Recording at the Summit
As the summit had been running for several years, Executive Director Lisa Simon wanted to bring something fresh to the experience; and what better than Live Graphic Recording?
We captured all of the education sessions in real time and broadcast the visuals on the big screen throughout the day. Graphic Recording was a huge success at the IITA Summit 2026, and no wonder, given the audience and the atmosphere of this event! Needless to say, as a graphic illustrator, these diverse and (truly) fascinating topics were a joy to illustrate! I hope this shines through in the graphics below...
We chose to combine multiple sessions onto one canvas, creating a visual summary of each day. At the same time, each section graphic was designed to stand on its own after the event; a Graphic Recording format I use often because it offers a true two-in-one: a cohesive big picture and individual takeaways.

It’s a real treat to live illustrate a summit covering such a wide range of fascinating topics; and the U.S. tourism theme sure lends itself beautifully to creative visuals!
The wonderful energy of the International Inbound Travel Association Summit 2026 came through even remotely, and I enjoyed every minute of illustrating these education sessions as they unfolded.
